Lokahi Healthcare

"Lōkahi"is a Hawaiian word which means unity. In the context of health, Lōkahi invites us to nurture a sense of unity and balance between our body, mind and inner being. A harmonious balance of these brings about vitality and longevity.

At Lokahi Healthcare, we know pain can be more than just physical - it affects your confidence, your energy and the way you show up in life. That’s why we do more than just treat injuries. We take the time to understand what’s holding you back, then help you rebuild mobility, strength, resilience and ease of movement. Our approach isn’t about quick fixes, it’s about lasting change. We’re here to help you move with confidence and feel at home in your body again.

Our mission is to empower you with the tools to move well, feel strong and live fully. We hope to bring together a community where optimal health and longevity are not distant aspirations but accessible realities.

Emmanuelle Chow

Physiotherapist

Counsellor

Growing up competing in badminton and running events, Emmanuelle’s interest in sport and movement developed at a young age. After graduating from Curtin University with First Class Honours, she worked in Perth, Australia, focusing on musculoskeletal physiotherapy before moving to Singapore. Her experience ranges from rehabilitating people following sports injuries, work-related injuries to motor vehicle accidents and surgery. Her special areas of interest include the TMJ (jaw), spine and persistent (chronic) pain conditions.

Emmanuelle is dedicated to helping people move confidently and with ease. She firmly believes that “movement is medicine”, viewing it as an essential part of healing and overall wellness. Using a patient-centered approach, she provides evidence-based rehabilitation plans tailored to each person’s needs and goals. She thoughtfully combines hands-on therapy, dry needling, exercise-based rehabilitation and Clinical Pilates to promote lasting recovery and injury prevention.

She understands that injuries, especially chronic conditions, can impact not just the physical body, but also a person’s mental, emotional and social well-being. Driven by this understanding, she pursued a Masters in Counselling (Advanced) at Swinburne University to enhance her ability to provide comprehensive care.

Outside the clinic, Emmanuelle enjoys staying active and spending time in nature. You can find her learning how to lift a barbell at Olympic weightlifting class, training for a duathlon or practicing pilates. In her downtime, she enjoys discovering new destinations and savouring yummy food. She believes in balance - whether it’s balancing on one leg or a plate of delicious food!
